October 29, 2008So it boils down to driver satisfaction being sourced more from a decent chassis than a powerhouse of an engine. Sounds like the recipe as it’s been for years, no?
Even so, what Mercedes has achieved with the latest generation of AMG V8s is pretty impressive.
The ideal combination for me would be the the manual gearbox from the BMW transplanted into the Mercedes, and throw the rest away.
