December 10, 2008I noticed the comment that accompanies the aerial shot of the Hethel circuit – “look closely and you’ll see the next Ferrari Enzo and GTR V-Spec circulating”.
Is this a tongue in cheek moment or actually true?
I would find it hard to believe that Ferrari would look to outside help developing their next flagship.

December 10, 2008Mr Bovingdon was the wit who wrote the controversial caption. Far be it for me to spill the beans about Lotus Engineering’s outside clients, but I had heard a rumour they did some work with Nissan early in the GT-R’s development phase.
As for Ferrari I honestly don’t know. They’ve only recently started going to the Ring, and that was more as preparation for Sport Auto’s ‘Supertest’ of the 599, so I doubt they’ve even heard of little old Hethel
