Inspired by a reader suggestion we were reminded of this short film used at the launch of the 599GTB. What do you think? cheesy? pointless? or perhaps irreverant?
Ferrari were showing us how fast their new GT car was compared to the iconic F40, but it’s a comparison that seems strangely dismissive of their heritage.

July 26, 2009Having owned both cars, and wrung them both out rather regularly, I can tell you that the 599 is faster over a given section of road, but the F40 is more rewarding to drive.
It is a testament to the F40 that 20 years on, it can even be compared to a technical tour de force like the 599,

September 4, 2009f40 all the way. 599 has too much electronics. even it´s the future i still liking cars as simple as possible for the pure joy of driving.
