Edo Competition Gallardo LP600/4

German Tuner Edo Competition have attempted to improve on what is already one of Lamborghini’s best cars, by adding more power, more poise and a little more personality to the LP560-4.

Power has been increased by 40 bhp to 600hp produced at 7,970rpm with torque climbing from 540Nm to 572Nm (422 lb-ft) at 6,845rpm.

Performance is naturally quite stunning, with of top speed of 212 mph (340 km/h) now claimed, whilst acceleration improved by 0.2 seconds to 3.5 seconds for the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint.

In addition to the LP600/4′s additional performance a new sports suspension has been fitted which enables compression and rebound of the dampers to be adjusted. This new setup is combined with revised spring rates achieving what Edo Competition says is “..a result that has to be experienced to be believed.”

Sound is a vital component of the V10 Gallardo’s appeal and Edo Competition have not forgotten to enhance this for the LP600/4; a new stainless steel exhaust system with butterfly valves allows noise level adjustment via a cockpit mounted remote control – in addition to releasing 15bhp and weighing 12kg less than the original.

A bespoke set of 19 inch three-piece racing wheels are included and fitted with either the standard tyre sizes, or larger Dunlop Sport Maxx rubber – 235/35 ZR 19 at the front and 305/30 ZR 19 at the rear.
