Happy New Year from SkiddMark

This is just a short post to wish you all a Happy New Year and hopefully a prosperous year to come in 2010.

We will update you during the next few weeks on our future plans and the changes that are coming, but it looks like being a very exciting year and one that will see further change in the way you consume and enjoy your motoring fix online.

Anyone who has spoken to me will know how passionately I believe in empowering the end-user, and during the past few months we’ve watched and learned from the way you’ve used the functionality in our community. The first stage or our response will be a new community platform with several cool features which will enable you to track, share and discuss the content you view from around the web.

We will release this new platform in stages, letting you play with it and steer what comes next, so we look forward to hearing your feedback.

In the meantime have a great evening, enjoy the celebrations and let’s toast the end of 2009.

Cheers

Maybe I’ll poke around the Lambo dealer; see if I can get anything on the rumored Gallardo LP570-4 SV and LP590-2.

Well Audi have already announced they will introduce 8 new models in 2010 (including the A1), BMW have a significant number of new models as well (X3, 5-Series, 6-series, M3 GTS…) and we’ll maybe see a KERS-enabled Ferrari appearing, Peugeot have their RCZ, we’ve got the AE86 successor from Toyota/Subaru and that’s just those I can remember off the top of my head (after 1/2 a bottle of Sauvignon).

Then F1 looks likely to be the best season for decades and I almost can’t wait until March..

And to top all this you’ll have more of these experiences will be presented first online, so you’ll have many more opportunities to become involved.

Better get back to that bottle now, mustn’t let it go to waste… ;)
