Leaked images of Audi’s new RS5

We’ve been eagerly awaiting this car ever since the A5 first appeared on our roads in 2007, and now these leaked images show that it was probably worth the wait. Thanks to Fourtitude and Autogespot, these images are now available to ogle over prior to their official release at the Geneva motor show.

Details are limited until we receive the official release from Audi, but the most notable observation thus far concerns the powerplant which appears to be a 450 bhp version of Audi’s venerable V8, as fitted to the R8. That’s 30 bhp more than the unit fitted to the now discontinued RS4.

Best not to speculate any further until we know for certain, so in the meantime here’s the gallery of images produced by Audi’s creative agency RECOM.

Looks worth the price of admission alone for those gorgeous hip hugging seats.
