Road magazine’s Project Audi S4 and its new website

In addition to the second new, weekly issue of Road magazine now being available – The Shameless V8 Supercar Special – which we hope you are enjoying, and telling your friends about, we’ve been busy-as-bees jushing up the new Road website and updating the Project Cars section.

Do please visit Roadmagazine and have a good look about. We are making changes to the look, feel, content and quality of the site – adding more and more each day. It’s by no means finished yet, and is an on-going project and your feedback would be gratefully received, as we want to deliver a quality product you all can enjoy…

The first of a few forthcoming Road project Cars, my own B5 Audi S4 2.7-litre, 30V bi-turbo, is online now – starting with the buying and first fettle tale. More Project cars from Road staffers will be uploaded in due course.

And I have just uploaded a feature on my choice of fluids, Millers Oil; with a look at their fully synthetic engine oils, trick new nano technology transmission fluids (as used in BTCC) and their CVL Turbo fuel treatment.

Phil Royle's lubricant of choice for his B5 Audi S4, comes from Millers Oil.

There’s lots more to come here too: Including road and track tests of a full stainless steel Milltek exhaust system, Forge Motorsport re-circulating blow off valves (no nasty Max Power ‘hisses’ here!), Dunlop’s Sportmaxx ‘Touch Technology’ tyres, Bilstein PSS9 coilover product test, look at the Superchips ECU map already fitted, dyno runs, circuit time, road trips, brake upgrades and a possible switch to RS4 turbos, manifolds, injectors and re-map of the ECU by Audi experts, Viper Tuning, in time.

Then, definitely, the Nordschleife and Spa-Francorchamps beckon. Not to mention plenty of UK track time, with www.opentrack.co.uk and www.rmatrackdays.com.

Enjoy it folks!
