Lamborghini reveals the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce China Limited Edition

Hot on the heels of Bentley’s exclusive new models for the Chinese market, Lamborghini have today followed suit by revealing an exclusive edition of the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce. And when we say exclusive, we mean very exclusive, with only 10 cars being made.

Manufactured exclusively for China’s most discriminating sports car enthusiasts, the LP 670-4 SuperVeloce China Limited Edition featrues an orange stripe, apparently symbolising the strength of an erupting volcano, decorating the flat grey painted carbon shell of the Murciélago. Every model displays a uniquely numbered badge with the name of its owner.

The Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, which is even more powerful (the result of optimized valve timing and a reworked intake system), lighter and faster than the Murciélago LP 640 is powered by a 6.5 litre V12 engine delivering 660 bhp and can sprint from zero to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 209 mph (337 km/h).

Lamborghini is also using the Beijing auto show as the Asian premiere of the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, revealed in Europe at the Geneva motorshow last month.
