The 2010 Ferrari F10 single-seater, driven by Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro driver, Marc Gené, wowed the crowds today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Ferrari F10 was previously driven by Fernando Alonso during his fight for the title last season, notching up race wins in Bahrain, Germany, Italy, Singapore and Korea.
“This is one of the most successful Ferraris and to drive this car up the hill at Goodwood is an absolute honour. It’s really very special for me to be here, and I can tell you that the hill is very, very fast,” Marc commented.
There are also several fine classic Ferraris on display at the Festival of Speed, including a unique 375 MM from 1953, a beautiful 246 Tasman from 1968 and a superb 312 B3 from 1973. They can all be seen over the weekend in both the F1 Paddock and the Cathedral Paddock.
The brand new flagship V12 four-seat Ferrari FF, front-engined V8 California and award-winning V8 458 Italia all once again put on a fine display of performance and speed in the “Windows 7 Supercar Run”.
In yesterday’s report we presented a video of Ferrari’s 458 Italia being driven up the Goodwood Hill by veteran comedian Bobby Davro. Bobby was at the wheel of the 458 again today and you can catch him lining up in the Supercar Paddock at 8am tomorrow morning..
