Earlier this week, Audi released details of its updated RS 5, featuring the latest A5 range enhancements plus a revamped equipment list. There really wasn't much to say, hence the reason why we didn't cover it - but I'm a sucker for a sexy video

Ever since I sold my own B7 RS4 in 2008, I've been eagerly waiting this new version, half expecting (or hoping) that it turns out to be a subtly scaled down RS6 - restoring the services of blown induction to the RS4 (absent since the Mk1).

Audi is currently testing a development installation of its quattro drivetrain in the sub-compact A1, bringing all-wheel-drive to this segment for the first time. As it gets to grip with the freezing Canadian conditions, Audi choose the opportunity to reveal its plans for its newest model in the range.

Audi gets carried away with the options list for the A1, and you can view them at the Wörthersee.

A high-revving 4.2 litre V8 delivering 444 bhp, a 7-speed S tronic box as standard and an optional sport differential.

Audi's RS5 loads up its 450 bhp V8 and goes gunning for BMW's M3.
