Prior to the Indian grand prix, Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel spoke with Nissan’s Coco Masters about his passion for driving, and the experiences that helped him become the champion he is today, starting in childhood with kart racing.
Vettel is the youngest four-time consecutive F1 World Champion in the history of the sport, and at the Indian Grand Prix, he captured his fourth drivers title and helped the team secure their fourth consecutive world constructors title.
He went on to dominate last weekend’s grand prix at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit, setting himself up for one of the most successful seasons in grand prix history.
Vettel has vanquished his competitors 11 times this season – just two short of Michael Schumacher’s record of 13 wins in a single season – and if he wins the final two races will match Alberto Ascari’s run of nine consecutive grand prix wins achieved in 1952 and 1953.
The videos see Vettel talking in depth about the ingredients behind his achievements, and what it feels like to be the hardest man to beat in the modern grand prix era.
