Exotic, delicious, full of eastern promise.. That was the tag line used in the 1960’s advert for Fry’s Turkish Delight, and perhaps that’s what McLaren’s new Regional Director for Middle East and Africa – Mark Harrison – had in mind when commissioning the car maker’s latest short film.
Earlier today, Bahrain International Circuit rebutted ‘media speculation’ about the race by stating that a number of ‘neutral interested parties’ (isn’t that an Oxymoron?) including two representatives from Lotus F1 Team had visited Bahrain recently and sent their report to all the F1 Team principals last week (5 April).
Organisers of the Bahrain Grand Prix have cancelled the March 13 event, due to continued civil unrest in the country. The race which was due to start the 2011 Formula One season may now be scheduled for later in the year, but organisers said that no decision had been taken yet.
