Earlier this year if you remember, Finland’s four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen drove a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible at 205.48 mph on the frozen Baltic Sea, off the coast of Finland. Another day in the office you might say, for someone who’s lived on the edge of mortal danger throughout most of his career.

Just a fortnight ago four-time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen, set a new World Ice Speed Record in a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible on the hazardous frozen waters of the Baltic Sea, off the coast of Finland. Watches and cars are the most natural of bedfellows, even more so when those cars are racing or sports cars, so you’d imagine that the most desirable watches would be the ones found in the accessories catalogue of your favourite motoring brand.
We’ve been waiting an age for the next Bond Film #23, which had been delayed as MGM Studios sorted out their finances following several box office flops and the general market slump in DVD sales. I’ve been taking a look at Bentley’s new iPad app that was launched earlier today. During the past month there’s been a bounty of iPad apps released by car makers, some of them acting as product showcases whilst others provide a more multi-media form of their customer magazine. If you’ve got yourself an iPad, then these apps are a great way to explore the many features of your new gadget whilst exploring some of your favourite cars.
