Geneva would not be complete without a show car from German tuner and manufacturer MANSORY. Best known for the sheer extravagance of their work and the perfectionism of founder and company boss Kourosh Mansory, their cars have sometimes become known for their questionable taste rather than sheer desirability. MANSORY build bespoke products for their wealthy customers, whose personal taste sometimes reflects their unique view of the world..
Just hours after Lamborghini’s official release showing us pictures of a rolling carbon fibre chassis, a picture has leaked onto the internet from the print layout of Evo Magazine Croatia.
It’s actually quite a refreshing change to see Lamborghini revealing its new V12 super sports car from the inside-out. If you think back to previous Lamborghini launches the focus has been firmly on the glitz, glamour and sheer celebrity of the car, which can be a frustrating experience for an enthusiast when all you’d like to see is someone crack open the throttle and silence all the polite conversation.
Angie Voluti wrote a few months about the naming advantage of Italian car companies in her article, ‘What’s in a Name?’, and Lamborghini’s latest special edition Gallardo LP 560-4 Bicolore provides a perfect example.
So, what you might ask is the Vantage S? Another V8 Vantage variant in the spirit of the N420? Not really. Perhaps it’s a just a tarted up Vantage with a few choice options? Definitely not. Well according to Aston Martin the rationale behind the V8 Vantage S was to push the boundaries of the already acclaimed V8 Vantage to achieve the highest levels of driver involvement possible.
The Aston Martin GT4 Challenge will return in 2011, with an increased number of races and an expanded grid. The one-make race series which is fundamentally based around the V8 Vantage road car provides the first step on the GT ladder.
Deliveries of the One-77 are expected to commence in early 2011, but as we count down to D-Day a solitary One-77 will soon be setting off on a tour of Asia.
Aston Martin Racing has launched a new Vantage GT4 for 2011. The new V8 engined racing car takes its design inspiration from Aston Martin’s V12 Vantage road car, which provides enhanced aerodynamics and increased downforce. It also has a remapped 4.7 litre engine offering increased levels of power and torque.
Well, here it is. Over the past few days more and more leaks have sprung from the Lamborghini embargo pump, so to avoid any further loss of thunder the release has been brought forward to… now.
It was bound to happen, whilst Lamborghini have tried to ‘slowly’ tease the world with close-up images of their new concept the details of their ‘secret’ were leaked to French website Blog Automobile.
We’re beginning to believe these teasers are not of a complete car, but instead some elaborate piece of Art which will eventually be on show at the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
Have you guessed what it is yet? No? I get the feeling that perhaps Lamborghini should have jumped BMW for the domain name dontblogaboutthis.com’, because there’s even less to blog about when it comes to these teaser images of the latest – concept/production model – (delete as appropriate) from Automobili Lamborghini.
