The first official images of the new 2012 Porsche 911 have been published on Jalopnik this afternoon, showing the new front and rear lights which until now had been hidden behind some cleverly contrived camouflage (designed to make the 991 look like the outgoing 997 model).
Well, this is a rarity – a special edition Porsche model that costs no more than base model, so it’s little surprise that the availability will be limited. The 911 Black Edition is powered by the 3.6 litre 340 bhp (254 kW) engine from the 911 Carrera combined with a comprehensive equipment package and available in any colour you like – as long as it’s black.
Uwe Gemballa, CEO of Gemballa Automobiletechnik, famed tuner of Porsche sports cars, was found murdered in Pretoria, South Africa at the weekend.
Mr Gemballa was found murdered in the style of an execution, with his hands tied behind his back and a bullet wound in the back of the head. He was reportedly in South Africa on business looking to close a deal which would see his cars being sold in the region.
