Subaru’s all-new XV heads for Frankfurt

The first in a whole new generation of Subaru crossover vehicle will be unveiled at the 64th Frankfurt Motor Show, September 13 – 25, 2011. The production Subaru XV, which was shown in concept form at the Auto Shanghai motor show in April, is said to remain true to the Concept and Subaru is confident that it will bring something fresh to the segment.

Subaru’s XV Concept hints at the next-generation Forester

It’s called the XV Concept, but it looks a lot like where Subaru are likely to be heading with a Forester replacement. Launched this morning at the Shanghai Auto Show, Subaru describes the XV Concept as “..defining a new generation of crossover vehicle, blending traditional SUV practicality within a fashionable form.”

Saab premieres new 9-4X soft-roader

The new 9-4X brings unique Saab design and engineering to the growing mid-size crossover segment. With its distinctive Scandinavian looks, Saab are claiming class-leading ride and car-like handling.

Making its world premiere at next month’s Los Angeles Auto Show, the 9-4X expands Saab’s product portfolio to three car lines and will provide a fresh, alternative choice for independently-minded crossover buyers. It is an important next-step in the Swedish brand’s renaissance as an independent premium car manufacturer.
