There’s a promotion on at Silverstone this Christmas, that on the surface looks like any other offer run during the past year, however there are two important highlights this festive season that are bound to catch your eye.
We’ve known it by several project names during its development; Aventador, Jota and of course LP700-4. It’s the successor to Lamborghini’s much loved Murciélago LP640 which was partially revealed last month when Lamborghini announced its power plant – a brand new 6.5-litre V12 engine pushing out 690bhp.
If high-tailing it over to Los Angeles for the Need for Speed Launch Party was a trifle inconvenient, then fear not, there is another way you can get involved.
Earlier this month Lamborghini’s Murciélago reached the end of production and with it went the venerable 60° V12 engine which has served the Raging Bull for more than 40 years. EA’s exciting new game, Need for Speed – Hot Pursuit, received a helping hand from UK vehicle wrapping specialist, Totally Dynamic at its UK launch event this week.
“When you talk, you sound like Super Mario on our Nintendo game,” my children tease.
“Do I?” “Yes. It’s funny.”
Doesn’t the Italian language and/or the Italian accent sound… unusual, to the Brits? Exotic, perhaps? Sexy, even?
With less than an hour to go, we’ve been informed by Silverstone that most of the experiences are sold out however you’ve got one remaining chance to pick up a bargain with a ‘Super Choice Voucher’.
It’s that time of year, when the race calendar starts to wind down and you can pick up a Driving Experiences bargain at Silverstone… if you’re quick. Tomorrow (Monday 11th October at 12:00hrs*) all of Silverstone’s Driving Experiences from their impressive range will be half price as part of a one day sale.
Well, here it is. Over the past few days more and more leaks have sprung from the Lamborghini embargo pump, so to avoid any further loss of thunder the release has been brought forward to… now.
Not everyone can travel to Paris to watch all those shiny new cars being launched, so to save you the trip we’ve put together a simple web page to present 3 of the LIVE webcasts from the show, which kicks off tomorrow.
