Lamborghini has sent out a teaser invitation for the Auto China Motorshow in Beijing next week, where it will unveil its long-awaited third model line – thought to be a high-performance crossover (not SUV), more in the mould of an X6 M rather than a seven-seater Q7.
One of the stars of this month’s Auto China show in Beijing, is bound to be Audi’s crowd-pleasing RS Q3 Concept, a purely one-off show car (for now) which combines the Q3’s SUV body with the turbocharged five-cylinder TFSI engine from the TT RS.
With 355bhp the RS Q3 will sprint from zero to 62mph in 5.2 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 165mph.
We were really captivated by the stunning looks of Citroen’s DS9 concept, in fact so much so that I had to tweet a few pictures of it late last night. Due to be unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show later in the month, the DS9 is Citroen’s fourth ‘Déesse’ (goddess) model and the first that really lives up to its name.
The grid will certainly be ‘colourful’ when the DTM season kicks off at the Hockenheimring on April 29th. We’ve now seen both Audi and BMW team liveries, and thankfully they’ve steered well away from the anodyne silver sported by their AMG Mercedes rivals.
In the past few days, three videos have been released from the finest supercar makers in the business – Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani. All Italian (although Horacio Pagani originates from Argentina), all based near Modena, yet somehow each offers a very different take on the supercar theme.
We’ve been in touch with Victor Fuster, Comms and Marketing Manager for GTA Spano, since early 2009, and despite dozens of email exchanges there’s not been much in the way of *new* News coming out of the Spanish supercar maker.
When is an Elise not an Elise? When it’s an Exige with its roof removed. Kind of like an Elise, but not. If you see what I mean.
No? Well neither did we.
BMW has unveiled their Concept M135i at Geneva this morning, showcasing its new 3-door 1 Series design and the first six-cylinder petrol engine M Performance model.
It has taken 15 years and two generations, but finally Mercedes has built an entry-level model in its range that reflects the same values as its most high-end executive cars. This, ladies and gentlemen, is an A-Class that you might genuinely ‘desire’.
The Lamborghini Aventador J is a one-of-a-kind piece of art, a one-off bespoke concept car that showcases Lamborghini’s latest technology and materials, wrapped in a light-weight carbon fibre body.
I really hope Bentley’s SUV concept looks better in the metal than it does in these awkward renderings. Inside, of course, it looks sublime – unmistakably a Bentley – but was this really penned by the same designers who brought us the elegant Continental GT?
As sure as night follows day, so convertible follow coupe, in this case Bentley’s new Continental GT V8 Coupe which made its premiere at the NAIAS in Detroit back in January – and now spawns the new Continental GTC V8 convertible.
