Sporting Classics of Monaco auction

Classic car auctions don’t get much better than this. May 1st in Monaco will see the launch of the inaugural RM Auctions Monaco event where tens of millions of pounds worth of gorgeous automotive machinery from yesteryear will go under the hammer.
The location of this incredible showcase of cars will once again be the Grimaldi Forum, host to the Top Marques Supercar Show a fortnight earlier. Cars on show will include a gorgeous banana yellow Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta, a rather mean looking pristine BMW M1, a glorious 1973 Porsche 911 RSR 2.8 and many more.
Admission to the event requires a purchase of an official catalogue for €70 that will grant access to two individuals to enjoy the six hour auction, pretty good value for money in our eyes given the array of talent on display.
We could write an in-depth analysis on each and every car to be bid for, but we feel it best that on this Friday evening you simply settle in with a glass of wine and your imaginary chequebook, and admire 12 of the most interesting cars and guide prices in our mini-gallery beneath. What’s top of your fantasy list?
You can view the entire lot and the Sporting Classics of Monaco website here.
