Best article yet on DR. Still find the font size too small and the articles run too slowly on my admittedly old pc.

Matt, if you are viewing the magazine on a Windows PC, just press F11 to view it in full screen. This should be an automatic feature once we migrate to a new platform in the next few months.

Is there a full-screen mode on a Mac? I’m a PC man myself.

The viewer thing is nice – would be better if it could expand to fill the available window – when you zoom it goes too big.
Really nice to be able to see video clips as you’re going through the article HOWEVER! you should be able to click to see them – not to have them play automatically. I’m watching this at work and to have the sound blare out without warning is very irritating.
I then flicked on a couple of pages and there were adverts down the left hand side of the page that appeared to be in a very loud loop. Again it played without being asked, again it was too loud – there was no-where to turn the sound off, and when I tried to turn the sound off on my PC the movie (flash presumably) was so resource-hungry that the volume button wouldn’t appear – I got more grief from everyone in the office and eventually only managed to shut it down by closing the window.
This spoilt an excellent concept. I would suggest all that needs to be done is that any videos should not play by default but have the big ‘play’ triablge over them – then if you choose to see the clip you’ve made that choice.
Also on any page where clips with sound are being shown there should be a clearly visible option to mute or reduce volume
I’ve got to say other than these (important) points I’m completely knocked out by the whole concept of your site. I am a serial car magazine buyer (my wife would use the word addict) – including EVO every month – this site really ticks all the boxes for me – it could change what I buy and allow me to spend the money I’ve saved on my car!
Well done with it all and good luck for the future
